Part 1- The difference between Rationalist and Puritans is that Rationalist didnt think the worse for everyone and that god want responsible for everything bad that happend. rationalist believed that human society was run by natural law meaning they had a mind of their own. So if they felt that they had made the right choice then they would stick with it. So as i read it seems like its saying like before they have a mind of their own and they fell that no one should just go to hell for what adam and eve had done. The puritans on the other hand felt that god was holding them over the fiery pit of hell just laughing at them and he wanted to drop them over in their.

Part 3-What Makes Benjamin Franklin a Good Rationalist
What makes him a good rationalist is that Ben had a mind of on his own. He NEVER let anyone tell him what to do. If he thought that he was doing the wrong thing then he would correct himself we wouldn't let anyone bring him down. He was different from others what others thought about him didn't matter to him. Its kind of like Ben was a independent person he would try his best at something and if he couldn't get it then that's when he would ask for help.That is why Ben Franklin is a good rationalist.
EXAMPLE:
I proceeded on my journey on foot, having fifty miles to Burlington, where I was told I should find boats that would carry me the rest of the way to Philadelphia.

Considerate- To be understanding to others needs.
Sympathy- To have feelings for others who are down.
Independent- To be able to do for yourself.
Trustworthy-To be able to be trusted by others.
Joyful- To be glad, or to bring joy.
Pride- To have pride in yourself to think the best of yourself.
Manners- Respecting others but mostly your elders
Respect- The same as manners but with respect you have to give it to recieve it.
Friendly- Making new friends
Courteous- Being polite
Violence- Something that will never solve anything.

part 5- Declaration of Independence
1)I think this is a rationalist thought because it was saying that every man should be treated the same. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.
2)I Think this is a rationalist thought also because it was saying that through all the troubles that we have been through we all stood together and helped out one another even when their wasnt anyone else who aould have been their for us like. He has kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of our legislature.
